Z - face not found, Z - plane not found

Post by ArchiG-RUS »

Dave, good day. I'm from Russia, city Kazan.
Set your screen. This is a super. But I have a problem.
WC Offcet-Probing: when moving along the Z-axis does not find the plane. When 3D-probe is triggered, the movement along the Z axis stops, return the sensor to the starting point and displays the message "Z - face not found", "Z - plane not found". I changed the Debounce interval on values 100,200,300,500,1000, but with the same result.
I may not have made any settings. Please specify the direction that you need to watch.

Hi,
I suspect that one of the mach distance limits is set to less than the amount you needed to find the face.
On the WC offset, probing page, look at the values for "Max X/Y distance" and Max X Distance" - increase the values until they are more than the distance from the probe start point to the face you are probing toward.

Similarly, if you are probing in Z using a touch plate, also check the two "Max Dist" DROs on the Setting Common page (right side of the upper panel).
