MSMActivator Failing with Shell Error 438

I have to completely reinstall Mach3 and MSM and when I go to activate MSM it fails with
Shell Error 438: Object doesn't support the property or method

How can i get MSM reactivated? This is the pro version. I also just renewed my license thinking that was the issue. didnt help
by the the old PC is dead and this is on a new PC now

Hi,
please tell me the windows version you're running and the MSM version.
I know you had a "no activations left" issue that was resolved earlier today after your direct email to me.
What has me puzzled is that error message you reported - I've never seen that, and if there are no activations available, the software should have given and error code and a message instead pf that general failure. If it happens again. please take a screen shot of the message and send it to em so I can see if this is some effect of a windows update etc.

I don't remember getting any additional info. MSM activator is not a program that is intended to be run directly. it is invoked by the installer and the installer should be run with admin privileges.
