A question as ked by a potetntial new users.

I am conversing over on the CNC board with a guy trying to get probing working under Mach 3 and have pointed him in this direction as an option. He had a couple of questions that I believe the answer for is yes but since I am not 100% certain I thought I would ask or point you over to that thread. H...

Re: Probing with personal edition

And well worth the meager sum being asked for the Pro edition.

Re: Tool Change

Hi, Go ahead and forget the embarrassment aspect - we all learn as we go along. Debouce is a filter that mach can apply to the probe input signal. Essentially it is a way to ignore very short pulses so that they do not cause mach to think the input is triggered, while still letting mach react to in...

Re: 2.1.4 Beta testing

I think I may have found one yesterday or it may be working as intended. I was probing a hole to set up the boring head and it appears the Z zero was not set after the probing completed as I crashed the head into the part after measuring the boring bar via the touch plate. The reason I am not sure i...

Re: Tool change position and tool offset

1. Yes. You can adjust the probing speed on the WC Offset tab. There is a Probe Fast FR and a Probe Slow FR setting. 2. This is a stepper stall. I assume your tool change position is at some far left or far right position on the table. That leaves the table weight hanging unsupported and adds additi...

Re: 2.1.4 Beta testing

I'm am happy to say I have nothing to report so far. I ran through all the probing sets today and everything worked as expected. I did not use the probing routines as part of running a part today and will do that next weekend.

Re: 2.1.4 Beta testing

I guess I fall into that category. All has been well since we figured out my particular problem.

2.1.4 Beta testing

I've got it set up so that I can swap between the previous release and 2.1.4 and will do some probing testing this weekend.

Re: Guage line measurement and TLO Touchplate measurement.

Well at least we know what's happening and how to avoid it. I made parts all day this past Sunday and no issues. If I need to over ride the rapids with feed rates for testing the code on the first run then I can output each operation as a separate MOP and that generates the same code out put as when...
