Dave, I just received a new machine from charter oaks. the set it up with a probe capable option.
I have a simple probe ( no LED in it) it is working properly electrically, connected to a PMDX-126 BOB pin 15 and ground.
when I do a t250 m6 and try probe +x, I get a probe error and it says "Probe T# not mounted". also on the tool page it still says tool # "0" .
When I run a program with change too command it does not stop for the change and wait and the tool# always says "0".

I'm suspecting a software problem that maybe I need to reload MSM and start over.

any suggestions or ideas?

Larry

My quick educated guess: Go to mach's general config dialog. look for the tool change mode choices (On the left I believe), what is it set yo? It should be "stop & wait", from what you said, I'd guess that it's set to Ignore or ATC instead.
If set to ignore, then mach does just what you described - it literally ignores all tool change commands.
