Question on Error

I have just started using MSM Personal Edition with my 3 Axis Knee mill; I have been using the software of a couple years now but only 2 axis. Having recently installed a quill drive assembly I going through the learning curve of what I can and can't do.
Occasionally doing a tool change I get this error [Scripter Compile Error. In:M6End.m1s] When this happens the screen doesn't switch back to the run screen after the tool change; you can manually switch it back while the program is running the next tool.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Dave

I do have an idea, but it's not real helpful... I have heard of this happening on recent versions (3.43.66) of mach. It appears to be an internal mach software timing problem. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it does not. It all depends on what thread gets the CPU for how long etc - and that is dependent on what else is running on the PC etc.
It also happens using stock mach - which makes it not MSM specific.
Alas, I have not heard of a definitive cause for this and thus also don;t know how to avoid it. The last person that asked about this found references to it on the mach web forums, but no work around.

Thanks Dave
I guess it doesn't cause any problems and it is intermittent so I will just put up with it. It is unfortunate that bug fixes have ceased for Mach3; I can understand them wanting to get Mach4 on the market but with the installed base out there it would be nice to have them take care of some of the outstanding issues.
I will most likely have some more questions as I continue to work with my new z axis.
Thanks again,
Dave
