Hi,
If you don't mind saying could you tell me the machine type and brand/model ?
That way I will know what questions to ask if the model show up in a future support topic.

Dave
maker Sieg
Model KX1. the same card is in the KX3
mine is the KX1 it's a very small mill but the come with 4 stepper drivers as standard for £ 3 k all in inc taxes they are reasonable value note this includes mach3 as well ( fully licenced to the purchaser
I do have a larger manual mill and a fair sized lathe but the CNC is for the small fiddly bits for my model engines.
At 70 years old I am a bit slow at new things but I get there in the end
As I posted before I have put the probe on the back burner and reverted to using the Master Tool method with a gauge block , which I know I can trust
So please don't waste your time
Re-read your paper on testing hardware ' the tests may be ok but trouble could still lurk ' not a work for word quote but you get the drift

You will be pleased to note that I have put an order in for a ESS and a couple of BOB's ( got nine proximity limit switches )
Ordered from a UK distributor becourse of the high USA to UK import taxes
So when it's all re wired I will test the probe again , but I am sure it will work as excepted
The main reason I had started to get small but random moves
Have to get the knitting needles out for the wiring ( sparks joke we say we are knitting when doing panel work )
Hope the magic smoke stops in place
Best regards Stuart
