MachStdMill Beta Adds Lathe Support!
We are pleased to announce that there is a new MSM release which extends MSM to provide support for CNC Lathes. MSM now includes a new GUI for operating Mach in lathe mode.
Mill owners will be interested is the new Mill-Turn support (included in the MSM Professional edition). You can now use MSM to perform turning operations with a vertical mill.
Both Turn and Mill-Turn extensions have successfully completed CVI's alpha test program and are now available for general beta testing. Please see the MSM beta download page for more information.
Digital Machinist magazine articles about MachStdMill
Digital Machinist Magazine has published a series of articles about out MachStdMill software. Parts 1, 2 and 3 are now all published. The articles provide a pretty good introduction to MSM's features as well as project background information.

The MachStdMill current production release and is available from the downloads section.
Licenses for either the Personal or Professional Editions may be purchased via the software store.
Videos
Videos showing the use of Master Tool Mode and Automatic Tool Measurements during a tool change are now available from the MSM videos page. There is also a video which walks through the Tool Change Position Touch Plate (TCP TP) calibration process.
